The Wolf Pack on the farm!!

Tonight we went to Mamaw & Papaw's house!

They live on a farm and we had a great visit!

(yes Mamaw, next time will be longer b/c we will remember to bring Mav's food :) )

Daymien and Maya Jo (Maverick's cousins) were there living it up in the pool!!

It was such a beautiful day to sit in the shade and visit!!!

 Mamaw and Papaw just bought a Mommy and baby goat.

I loved them!!

 The baby was smaller than Maverick! He wasn't sure what to think!!

 Anyone who knows me knows that I am terrified of birds of any sorts. I have a special kind of hate for chickens. I like to eat them but they scare the daylights out of me. M &P have 69 of them!!!!!!!!!!!

I stayed far away to get this picture!!

 Mamaw was trying to get him to look in the window at the goats. He was too worried about their dog. He loved her!!

He never does that!! He must love his Maya Jo!!

 Mamaw brought out a blanket for them to play!!

Pug love!

Pugs are my favorite dogs! I love them!

Someday a pug will join the Wolf Pack (I don't care what Matt says!!)

I have a pug niece and nephew who I love very much!!

Maverick's Godfather and his fiance just adopted a baby girl pug. ::swoon::

Her name is Dalila and she is so stinking cute!!

Jackie and Dalila came over for a playdate early this weekend.

Maverick wasn't so sure what to think of her at first!

Dalila tried to kiss and nibble at Maverick!

He decided to grab her face pet her too!

We can't wait for our next play date!!!

Puffs please!

This weekend we bought Mav some of the Gerber puff treats. We bought 3 different kinds and the apple cinnamon are his favorites! He wasn't so sure about these at first and would make a funny face. The second step was sucking off all of the flavor and then spitting them out! I think he has it down now! He gets excited when he sees the containers!

He also likes to play with the containers!

When he wants more he makes this face! It's hilarious!

Let's go to the fair! Take two!

We decided to back to the fair on Friday night.

 (Yes, it might have had something to do with me not getting a corndog or elephant ear the first night ;) )

We ran into my mom and sister Jeannette while we were there. Maverick was in a much better mood than the previous night and was happy to see them. I let him have a few licks off my elephant ear and he went crazy! I think we're in trouble next year! Aunt JJ decided to get some pineapple whip and share with Mav. It was hilarious b/c he would make an awful face like he hated it, but then he would yell and grab for it!

Matt got some ice cream too and here are some pictures of him trying a swirl!!!

Let's go to the fair!!!

Today we went to the local fair!

It was a little windy, but felt pretty nice out!

Maverick missed his afternoon nap, so he was not impressed with anything there.

We did pet a baby calf and he loved that. He kept trying to pet it and it was so cute!

Daddy put him on a tractor. He tried to eat the wheel!

 

I thought he would love the carousel (side note...$3.75 for one ride on the carousel...geesh!!!) but he was not too happy. It actually went much faster than I remember and he was mad. He started screaming the last 30 seconds or so!

Daddy could not resist trying to win something for Mommy and baby!!

After entirely too much $$ daddy won a large Rastafarian Banana. Because who doesn't need or want a Rastafarian banana?!! lol

The good news is that Maverick loves it!

Baby Show Winner!!!!!

Yesterday was the local county fair baby show. Maverick was crowned the 2011 King!!!

Matt and I could not be more proud!! He had an entire fan section cheering him on!!

I would like to thank cousin Billy for taking pictures for us!!

Maverick was quite the little ham. He batted his eyes and smiled at all of the judges.

All of the babies were adorable. I cannot imagine a harder job than judging a baby contest!!

But, I think they made the right decision in the end ;)

 Payton M was crowned the queen. Her mommy and I graduated together. I also am friends with her grandma. I was so excited that she and Maverick were the winners!! She was such a cutie. She was blowing kisses at the judges! She kissed Maverick and I both!! Such a gracious queen!

 While we were being judged in the final round we sat next to Logan and Kayleigh G. Logan is such a little cutie and he and Maverick were having a great time playing together!

 After he won his division!! He was in the 6-9 month boys category!

 The theme was 'Hollywood comes to Rushville' so he had his shades on!! He also had a tux jacket, but it was a little too hot!
