Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas! We are truly blessed with wonderful family and friends!

I was doing some last minute shopping and I saw this stamp. I love the quote!

I also mad some Santa hat mix :) I'm so crafty!
Matt's mom was not feeling well on Christmas eve. Matt and his sister helped her cook her famous potatoes. They think that this was probably the first time that they have ever cooked together!
After we went to Mamaw and Papaw's for Christmas eve we went on to the Mercer family Christmas.
We LOVE going to the Mercer gatherings. They are the most wonderful family. This is Matt's step-dad's family and they are nicest people you will ever meet!
There are lots of little ones for Maverick to play with. This is cousin Sara who is just a few months younger. They play really well together and it is adorable! (Isn't she beautiful?!)
Santa even came to the party!!

Maverick played so hard that he passed out before we were out of the driveway and stayed asleep all night. This has NEVER happened!
Santa came and brought Maverick a huge bounce house!! It took up 1/2 our living room!
He was not so sure about it. He liked looking at it, but refused to stay in it!

What was the gift he played with the most? You got it, cups!!!!
We started a Christmas tradition of doing breakfast with our neighbors, the Hill's!
We had biscuits and gravy, hashbrown casserole, mimosas for the adults, and hot chocolate for the kiddos! Yumm!!!

Avery and/or Grady got a game called Headbandz, or something like that, and the kids wanted all of us to play. It was pretty entertaining!

Grady and Avery came over to play with Maverick in the bouncer. He finally got in when they were in it!

This picture cracks me up b/c Avery was mad about something and refused to be in the picture.
That afternoon we went to Christmas with my family. Here is a family photo of Dana and the dogs :)

We played a fun version of white elephant with gifts from goodwill/yard sales/gas stations.
Isabella won this chandelier. Aren't you jealous? :)

We had a wonderful Christmas and I am already planning for next year!

Merry Christmas from the Wolf pack and the Hill's!!

White Christmas

The movie White Christmas has always been very special to my family. It is my mom's favorite and we watched it every year as we decorated for Christmas. Many, many moons ago my mom saw this in the theatre when it came out!!!
We were all excited to learn that the Strand theatre in Shelbyville was playing it this year!!

This is our whole crew. Billy, Jeannette, me, my mom, my nephew Brevin, and my neice Isabella!

Yes!! They even had a sing-a-long before the show!!

My mom wanted to sit in the balcony in the same seat she sat in 45+ years ago to watch it!!

Santa brought everyone candy canes!!!
I really hope the strand continues to do this every year. We would like to make it a holiday tradition!

Fun facts:
*When i was a little girl I would tuck my blanky in the back of my pants and pretend that I was one of the sisters on the movie!
*my cousin Billy can sing the entire 'sisters' song from the movie :)

Christmas light hunting 2011

Tonight was a fun night for the Wolf pack. We went around looking at Christmas lights! Thanks to a couple of friends we found a really cool place about 25 minutes away! Mammy and Aunt JJ went too.
This place is about 3 acres of light displays. It's gorgeous! Maverick loved being able to get out and walk through this one!
